She is survived by her daughter Gladys America Campos Plascencia.
Mama Yita was a beloved, wife, mother of 6, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother and friend.
She was a devoted Christian and the sweetest person you’d ever meet. She will be remembered by all, for her kindness towards everyone, her contagious smile, her devotion to God, and her love for baking delicious Salvadorian sweet bread, gifting it to everyone she met and loved.
She taught us the importance of not harboring resentments towards others, leading by example.
Mama Yita will be missed and remembered by many.
