

Norman Harrison born May 10, 1936 passed away April 7, 2011 at home in Covina, CA. He is survived by his sister, Madelyn Burns; his nephew, Charles Anderson and his nieces, Charlene Gardner and Kathleen Burns. As well as, their children: Brian, William, Jonathon, Joy, Julianna, Elizabeth, Logan and Harlequin.
Norman was born to Henry and Lois Harrison in Sterling, Illinois. His family packed up and moved to California in 1946. He graduated from Citrus High School in 1954. He then went on to graduate from Citrus College in 1957.
After graduation, Norman started his long career with Conrac, in Glendora, CA. He did take at two year leave to serve in the Army. Through the years, Norman worked his way up the line in the company, though it changed locations and names from time to time. He retired after 38 years of service.
Norman was an avid photographer. He loved to drive about Southern California on his motorcycle and stop where ever and take pictures of the beach, mountains, trains, etc.
During his retirement he took a part-time job working for Renzenberger Inc., a company that transports train crew from one train yard to another. In so doing, Norman was up close and personal to the powerful machines he loved the most, TRAINS. He enjoyed chatting with the crews whether their journey was long or short. He continued working there until the end.
