On July 13th, the night she was admitted to the hospital for the last time. I went to visit my mom. I told her that for many years prior to these final days of her life, I tried preparing myself so that I would be ok in grieving her. I told her it didn’t work. I told her I didn’t know that I would be ok to say goodbye. She assured me that I would be ok. She told me she was thinking about her life here on earth and she said she has no regrets. She assured me that when she left us that her heart would always be with me. I miss her already. Mother knows best. So in time, I will be ok. Thank you all for your love and well wishes.
