Like you and many others, I loved Pedro G. Martinez. He was our uncle Pete; a wonderful man. I loved him as a father and mentor. He always had time to listen to me. The wisdom and work ethic he shared with me is priceless. When I needed a father, he was there. When I needed a friend, he was there. When ever I needed advice on anything, he was there. I believe I speak for my brothers, cousins and anyone who spent time with my uncle Pete when I say that he helped us make better decisions to overcome life's challenges. He always offered good guidance that usually came with a smile and humor.  He also had a knack to make happy family events unforgettable joyous milestones.  I miss him. But, I am happy for him. He is in paradise with our loved ones in heaven.  It is my privilege to have been part of his life and to be by his side as he created memories that will last the test of time.  His love for family and friends is his legacy, which I will continue to share.

Tio... were all gonna miss you so much. This was so unexpected of you leaving us this quick😞.. Tio May you rest in peace in heaven 🙏and be with our Lord Jesus🙏.💙 Xoxoxo 

My condolences to the Martinez, Castrejon Family. The few time I met Pedro our conversation was about cooking. It’s painful losing any one. The head of the family is always the one we go to to seek comfort, advice or just the need to talk. Family stay strong , you have suffered so much loss in the last couple years. My heart aches for all of you, a part of the chain is broken and you’re left to carry on. Trust in our Lord And Savior Jesus Christ. Proverbs 3:5-6. I Love You All.

Dearest Martinez Family,

My heart and prayers go out to all of you again! Your dad will leave a void in many hearts.  His generosity and love for family will always be cherished.  So MANY memories sitting at his table adorned with his cooking and love for life.  Words cannot express my respect and admiration I had for this man.  Always an open invitation whenever  you wanted to be around family and love.  You will be missed Pete, I want to thank you for all the beautiful memories you left me, not to mention the recipes you "kinda" gave me as I tried my best to be an amazing cook like you!  God bless you my friend...I can only imagine you in heaven right now being the "host with the most" as  you were here on earth...

Pedro also leaves 5 grandchildren: Luis, Vivian, Lana, Ava and Ella. They will treasure their memories of their grandpa and Papa. He also leaves 4 siblings: Manuel Martinez, Teresa Navarro, Estela Martinez and Pilar Lopez. Also his sister in law: Tammy Castrejon and many nephews and nieces who will miss his laughter, sense of humor and his cooking.
