Ralph T. Contreras was born on May 20, 1930 to Ralph and Dominga Contreras. He was raised in Tucson, Arizona where the family later moved to Irwindale, California in his teen years. He was drafted into the United States Army where he served and fought in the Korean War, and was later honorably discharged. After the army, Ralph went on to marry the love of his life, Miss Betty Jean Flores In 1952, whom later had his 2 sons; Ralph Steven Contreras and Henry Luis Contreras. Ralph went on to attend barber school by which he was a proud barber and owner of Ralph’s Barbershop for 47 years In El Monte, California. Ralph T. Contreras was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by; his son and daughter-in-law Ralph Steven and Benigna Contreras and their five children and spouses; Heather and Matthew Larson, Ralph Zachary Contreras, Justin and Angela Contreras, Cassandra and Marco Diaz, and Faith Rose Contreras. With nine great-grandchildren; Dakota and Merrick Larson, Ralph Sebastian and Emma Contreras, Ariel Contreras, and Jordaska, Dylann, Yolotzin, and Yeshaya Diaz. As well as son and daughter-in-law Henry and Tina Contreras and their three children and spouses; Desiree and Brett Porter, Nathan and Ada Contreras, and Dana and Casey Drayer. With six great-grandchildren; Kaeley and Austin Porter, Lil Nate and Rollie Contreras, and Cameron and Paisley Drayer. Papa Ralph is greatly loved, missed, and forever cherished by All.
