

Rose Lucille Vetti, 90, of Glendora, California passed away peacefully on July 16, 2020. She was born in Los Angeles, California on June 27, 1930 to Charles and Lena Parrino. Rose married the love of her life, Lee “Papa” Vetti on September 24th, 1950. They were married for over 63 years. Together they had four children, eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Known to her family by many names, she was: Rose, Mom, “Mima,” “Golden”, and Grandma.
Rose will always be remembered for her patience, kindness, selflessness, wit, willingness to listen, and her unconditional love for others. She was a fantastic cook in the Italian-American tradition, and brought joy to all who sat at her table. Rose was a true angel, and her faith, values, and traditions will live on through her family.
Rose Vetti is survived by her four children: daughter Charlene (Gregory) Schofield, daughter Paula (Joseph) Rubinstein, son Rick Vetti, and daughter Gina Vanderploeg; and her siblings Anthony (Yvonne) Parrino, and Catherine (Jerry) Jack. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, whom she truly adored: Matthew (Lesley), Daniel (Nicki), David (Christina), Andrew, Leah, Michael (Paige), Jacob, Joey, Mark, Robbie, and Melissa; as well as 6 great-grandchildren: Henry, Elliot, Theodore, William, Olivia, and James. Rose also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many friends who were loved like family.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date where Rose will be inurned at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
