October 22, 1928 - May 2, 2025
With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life so beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Maria
Salome Duarte, who was called home to reunite with her beloved husband in heaven on May 2, 2025, in San Bernardino County, at the remarkable age of 96.
Born in Chihuahua, Mexico, on October 22, 1928, Salome was the heart and soul of a large, loving family.
She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering strength, deep faith, and unconditional love. She was the cherished mother of three sons and three daughters, the proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren, and the adoring great-grandmother of 17 great-grandchildren.
Salome's life was a testament to resilience, grace, and devotion. Her faith was her compass-guiding her
through life's challenges with quiet strength and unwavering courage. She devoted herself selflessly to her
family, nurturing each generation with love, wisdom, and gentle strength. Her presence was a source of
comfort, her words a wellspring of encouragement, and her love a gift that will never be forgotten.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find peace in knowing she is now embraced by the eternal light,
watching over us. Her memory lives on in every story we share, every tradition we keep, and every act of
kindness we extend in her name. The lessons she taught us-about love, perseverance, and faith-will echo
through generations.
"We love you. We miss you. You will forever live in our hearts."
Rest in heavenly peace, Salome. Your spirit will always be our guiding light.
