Stella was a devoted older sister, her uprising was very challenging at an early age, she was in the hospital for a good fraction of her childhood not allowing her to experience a childhood that she would love to have had. Alongside of spending most of her childhood in the hospital she also took care of her many younger siblings and therefore sacrificed going to school and having a profession. She later acquired the skill of sewing and became a seamstress. She blessed Many people with gorgeous and stunning dresses and wedding gowns that she made for them. She loved arts and crafts this was one of her many gifts God gave her being creative. She created many amazing artworks sometimes using only soda cans, tabs and plastic bottles. Her imagination was endless. She loved to sew, knit, crochet; she made jewelry, piñatas, windchimes, hair barrettes with shells, tons of things. She made crafts with her children and grandchildren’s pictures on it as a special touch of love.
Stella liked music she enjoyed listening to her 50's and 60's "oldies but Goodies" songs she also had a bit of talent singing karaoke with mariachi's at "El Mercadito" when she was able, played the piano, and the harmonica.
Stella had the gift of cooking delicious food, always had a clean organized home. She just loved to create different types of arts and crafts to keep the grandchildren busy as she helped us care for them while her adult children were working.
Stella was also very spiritual she loved God with her whole heart. She Loved his word. She loved going to church to worship the Lord. She loved the fellowship with her brothers and sisters in Christ as we enjoyed lunch with them after service.
Stella was a devoted wife mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She was married to Ramon Chavez an aircraft parts machinist for 57 years until he also graduated and went to heaven on November 15th 2018.
