

Susan R. Cameron passed away in her home, with her husband, Wes and family on Nov 27, 2015. Susan was a resident of Glendora for 41 years. She was born in Geneva, Illinois on March 18th 1937 to parents Samuel Archibald and Dorothy Richards. She also had an older brother named Bill. She grew up on a farm in Des Moines, Iowa. She love riding horses, helping in the garden and cooking in the kitchen. She was an excellent student and president of the honor club in junior high school. She graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson and was a sister of the pi beta phi sorority. She also swam on the synchronized swimming team. Married at the age of 19, Susan had three children, Jeff Skatvold (of Big Bear,CA) Dave Skatvold (of Woodenville, WA)and Nancy Dulaney (of Rancho Cucamonga, CA) Some of Susan's life accomplishments include graduating top of her class from the Sawyers Secretarial School. She got her real estate license from which she earned a certificate from the million dollar club for the top selling agent month after month. She was a teacher at Alverno (all girls catholic) High School where she taught typing, shorthand, drama, and charm/ etiquette. Susan was also a pediatric nurse for almost 30 years, this being her favorite by far. Anyone who knew her was well aware of her love for kids and dogs. But most of all she was a beloved and wonderful wife, mother of 3, grandmother of 6, and great grandmother of 3, and friend of many. She will missed tremendously and never ever forgotten. Heaven has a beautiful angel with dimples.
