

Terrence J. Lehnhoff passed away on October 2, 2021 at home. Terry was born in Anamosa, Iowa on March 20, 1939. Terry served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956-1958. Shortly after returning home from the Marines, Terry started working at Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This was the beginning of Terry’s lifelong career in the aerospace industry. Terry moved to California in 1964 and began working for the Leach Corporation. He would eventually end up working for Perkin Elmer in La Verne, Ca. Perkin Elmer ended up becoming Orbital Sciences and then eventually became Hamilton Sunstrand. Terry would end up retiring from his Systems Configuration Administrator position from Hamilton in 2003. Terry was quite proud of the many high profile projects and the several “hush hush” projects he worked on. Terry was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal and Green Bay Packer fan. After moving to California, Terry became a lifelong fan of the California Angels and Los Angeles Kings. He was a season ticket holder for the Kings for many years and was a season ticket holder for the Angels until his passing. Horseracing was also a huge enjoyment for Terry and he loved going to Santa Anita with his sister and brother in law. Terry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, camping and most of all, desert motorcycle riding. Terry was three days away from a big desert camping and dirt bike trip before he passed. He was doing what he loved right up to the end. He is survived by his son, Michael A. Lehnhoff, his sister, Cheryl A. Tenbrink of Kansas City and her family. Visitation will be at Oakdale Memorial Park in Glendora on November 8th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral service November 9th at Oakdale. Terry will be buried at Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made at your local animal shelter and/or to Disabled American Veterans.
