She was a homemaker.
Ms. Murtry was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Ira and Valentine McMurtry and was preceded in death by her
brother, Henry McMurtry; a sister, Elsie Kirk; two half sisters, Nettie Mae Coleman and Kathleen Sluder.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Harold McNabb officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
