

He was an insurance agent for over 20 years.
Mr Sutton was a member of Mosheim Missionary Baptist Church.
He graduated from South Greene High School and served in the U. S. Army. Tony was a member of the Moose Lodge, the Masonic Lodge, the Shriners Club, and the Greene County Hunting and Fishing Club. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and golfing as long as his health permitted
Survivors include his loving wife of 38½ years (the love of his life): Kathy Fann Sutton; one son: Scott Sutton of Chuckey; a daughter and son-in-law: Amber and Sean Garay-Leon of Greeneville; special grandchildren who were the apple of his eye: Aaron Young and Hope Garay-Leon; other grandchildren: Hannah Jones and Stephen and Stephine Garay-Leon; a special little buddy: Elizabeth Yokley; a special adopted daughter: Tiffany Henry; mother-in-law: Jean Fann; brother-in-law: Gary Fann and wife, Rhonda; special former sister-in-law: Karen Fann; special nephews: Randy Sutton and wife, Reba, of Cocke County, Lance Fann and wife, Brandy and Heath Fann, all of Greeneville; niece: Jane Myers of Cocke County; great niece: Bailey Grace Fann; great nephews: Derrick Sutton, Jimmy, Timmy, and Limmy Workman, E. J. Jenkins, all of Cocke County, and Mason Surrett Fann of Greeneville;
He was the son of the late Holace and Mildred M. Sutton and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clennie and Zelphia Myers; brothers, Doyle Sutton and Kenny Sutton; and nieces: Sherry Sutton Jenkins and Penny Sutton Bible.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday and 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home and anytime at the home of Amber and Sean Garay-Leon, 110 Ricker Ave., Greeneville.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm Friday, March 28, 2014, at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Tommy Melton, Rev. David Gibbs, and Rev. Bill Helton officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Randy Harrison, Andy Fouks, Gale Doty, Oliver Odom, Brandon Lollar, Dan Winstead, Kenny Ray, and Tim Chandley.
Honorary pallbearers are Freddy Wayne Hobbs, Alan Davis, Randy Filllers, Stacy Hobbs, Danny Roberts, Harold Southerland, Lynn Harrison, Edward “Lil Buddy” Rader, Pete Lollar, Bobby Kyker, Billy Renner, the doctors and nurses at Holston Valley Medical Center that cared for him, Dr. Meyers and the CVA Welmont group, Dr. Richard Aasheim, and Rachel and Phyllis and the staff of Takoma Medical Group.
