Arnold Ray Stills

Mr. Stills owned Homestead Family Restaurant.

He was a member of Tree of Life Church.

He was a loving husband, father, and papaw who dearly loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years: Joyce Stills; three daughters and three sons-in-law: Janet and Charles Arrington, Diane and Rev. Ralph Hensley, Kimberley and Bobby Lunsford; seven grandchildren: Amanda Livingston, Anna Hensley, Bobby Lunsford (and fiancé, Stephanie Smith), Kaylee Hensley, Allie Lunsford, Megan Arrington, Shiann Horner; five great grandchildren: Peyton Fillers, Maylin Owens, Baylee Hensley, Haisley Stills, Rae Lynn Hensley; three sisters: Phyllis Hensley, Thelma Gregg, Carrie Humphreys; two brothers: Joe Stills, Vance Stills; several nieces and nephews; and his special friends: Johnny Cutshall and Ann Cutshall.

He was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Ellen Houston Stills and was also preceded in death by four brothers: Clifford Stills, John Stills, Bill Stills, and Ralph Stills; and four sisters: Eudema Franklin, Lois Ayres, Alberta Riddle, and Flossie Tweed.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 4, 2013, at the Tree of Life Church with Rev. Ralph Hensley officiating. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service at the church. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service.

Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Hensley, Ronnie Stills, Derrik Thornton, Donnie Livingston, Charles Arrington, and David Wayne Stills.
