She worked for Magnavox for 35 years.
Survivors include two sons: Paul Smelcer and Ricky Eugene Smelcer, both of Greeneville;
sisters and brother-in-law: Leta Harmon, Mary Edith Swanson, both of Greeneville; Bessie
Rebecca and Alvin Kitts of Chuckey; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Billy Frank Smelcer,
Clyde Smelcer, Sue and Robert Conner, all of Greeneville; Virgie Doud of Mosheim;
several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend: Charlotte Byrd.
She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Clara Myers Key and was preceded in death by
her husband, Roy Smelcer, Jr.
The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation the body will be cremated.
