He retired from Greene Valley Dev. Center after 33 years of service
Mr. Wilson was a member of Greeneville First Church of God.
He was a veteran and sergeant of the US Air Force and served in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years: Alice Wilson; son: James; two daughters: Donna and Jessica; grandchildren: Kevin, Hannah, Liam, Luke, Chris, Emily, Nate, McKenzie and Landyn; one niece: Carla Crum and husband, Billy; and two great nieces: Amber and Mandy.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ben and Ruby Wilson, and a sister: Brenda Wilson.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lynn Neas and Rev. Chase Dean officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
