She was a housewife and retired from Austin Tobacco Company.
She was a member of Fugate Free Will Baptist Church in Del Rio and attended Wayside Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.
She loved her Lord and loved to go to church. One of her favorite quotes was “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Her faith in God helped her through many hardships.
She was a loving and caring mother who was proud of her family and was always there for them.
She loved to travel, but she enjoyed staying home and going to the Roby Fitzgerald Adult Center to play Bingo. She worked as a volunteer for various organizations.
She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. We know she is with the Lord.
The family would like to thank her friends at Signature Health Care and Dr. James McKinney and staff for the care she was given and her friends at Roby Fitzgerald Adult Center.
