

She was retired from Phillips Consumer Electronic (Magnavox) after 38 years of service.
Mrs. Parton attended Victory Church of God as long as her health permitted and she taught the Young Children’s Sunday School Class at Camp Ground Church of God.
She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She gave her heart to Jesus at an early
age and lived her life strong for the Lord. She was our perfect mother (our angel), the sweetest
friend anyone could ever have. She loved all of her church friends. Mrs. Parton loved to make
afghans and gave one to all of her family and many of her friends.
Survivors include two daughters: Juanita Cutshall and Janice Hoese, both of Greeneville; grandchildren: Scott DeWitt and wife, Cheryl, Gary Hoese and wife, Cassondra, Terry Hoese and wife, Amy, Brain Hoese and wife, Hannah, all of Greeneville; great grandchildren: Darius Hoese, Madison Hoese, Sophia Hoese, Isaac Hoese, Arianna Hoese, Chris DeWitt, Matt DeWitt; step great grandson: Sutton Kirkpatrick; sister and brother-in-law: Lorene and Humphrey Renner; several nieces and nephews; special friends whom she loved very much: Christine Miller and Dianna Shipley.
She was the daughter of the late George and Pearlie Ricker and was preceded in death by her
husband of 70 years, Clinton Parton; a sister, Marjorie Parton; a son-in-law, Don Cutshall, Jr.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Victory Church of God. Rev. Jim Fillers and Rev. Daryl Allen will officiate. Interment will be at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Chris DeWitt, Matt DeWitt, Darius Hoese, Darmon Carter, Lyle Parton and Ronald Crum.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of her Sunday School Class and her many neighbors and friends.
The family will receive friends 3-7 p.m. Saturday at Victory Church of God. Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
