She retired from Magnavox.
Betty was a member of Mt. Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.
Betty was a woman of faith and love; she loved the Lord and her family more than anything. She was a wonderful wife; amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to everyone she met. Everyone was family, even if not by blood, and always welcomed into her home. She loved to quilt and just like her quilts, that was her life. She took the pieces of her life and sewed them together to make her the strong woman that she was. She always had a kind word, smile, and open arms to brighten anyone’s day. If you knew Betty, then you knew a true godly woman whose character, morals, and beliefs will continue to make an impact on the lives of everyone who knew her.
