

Betty Hughes Webb, age 83, of Greene County, TN passed away Friday, February, 13, 2026 peacefully at Signature Health Care Center with family at her bedside. She showed her remarkable strength and endurance through her illness and always throughout her life. She taught us that love of family and God are most important. She was a Christian by faith and always had a testimony for the Lord and her faith in Him. She loved her children more than anything in her world and they were ultimately her life. She loved feeding and watching the birds. This gave her much joy. She was a homemaker and a retired caregiver. She attended Freedom Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.
She is survived by a son: Kenneth James (Jamey) Hughes; daughters: Sharon Metcalf, Janet and David Shelton; grandchildren include: Marissa and Jamie Justice, Jason and Cassie Starnes, Austen and Ashlyn Keller, Ashley Martin, Courtney Correll, Kendra McCamey; great grandchildren: Haylee Justice, Alexis and Daniel Painter, Mackenzie Jones, Kyra Long, Kayla and Dave Dumaine, Krista Long, Gracie Starnes, Lilly Starnes, Callie Rae Keller, Athens Keller, Vivian Rossman and Karcher Correll; great great grandchildren: CJ Painter, Arlo Painter, Alora Dumaine, Tobias Dumaine and Jasper Elkins and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two daughters: Cindy Keller and Lisa Hughes; mother: Opal McIntosh and father Lincoln Mcintosh; her later husband and father to her children: Kenneth James Hughes and her late husband: Joe Webb; two sisters and six brothers.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Ricker officiating. Interment will be at Zion Cemetery at Baileyton Wednesday at 12:00 pm.
Pallbearers will be: Jason Starnes, David Shelton, Steve Keller, Austen Keller, Daniel Painter and Dave Dumaine.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 11:00 am to go in procession to the cemetery.
