

She retired as a Greene County School teacher.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
She was a Takoma Adventist Hospital Volunteer and a member of the Retired Teacher’s Association and Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law: Stella and Phil Hunter and Mary Frankie Garland of Greeneville; three grandchildren: Matthew Hunter and wife Hannah of Rogersville, Ben Hunter and fiancé Miley Rednour and Rachael Garland of Greeneville; great grandchildren: Morgan Hunter and Noah Hunter of Rogersville and Ande Kate King of Greeneville; sister-in-law: Annette Ellenburg of Mosheim; several special nieces and nephews; and special caregivers: Gwen Bible, Liz Lloyd, and Frances Shanks.
She was the daughter of the late Sidney and Vertie Ottinger Ellenburg and was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Frank Sauls; four brothers: Fred, J.D., Marcus, and Paul Ellenburg; and two sisters: Louise Mason and Mary Ellenburg.
The family will receive friends from 12pm-2pm and 6pm-8pm Saturday and 1pm-2:30pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30pm Sunday, March 9, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charles Hutchins and Rev. Stephen Rutherford officiating.
Interment will be in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Allen Ellenburg, Bobbie Ellenburg, Eddie Ellenburg, Gary Ellenburg, Sidney Ellenburg, Dewayne Mason, Richard Mason, Terry Mason, Gene Sauceman, Danny Sauceman, Mike Sweeten, and Donnie Jackson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Thomas Beckner, Allison Lynch, Greeneville Internal Medicine Staff, Laughlin Home Health nurses and staff, nurses and staff of Caris Hospice, and Rev. Jeannie Higgins.
