Bob Hopson

He retired from the Greeneville Fire Department after 35 years of service.

Survivors include his wife: Linda Hopson; sister: Billie June Perry; brothers and sisters-in-law: David and Peggy Hopson and Guy and Sandra Hopson; sister and brother-in-law: Mary Lou and Owen Freeman; sisters-in-law and husband: JoAnn and Dale Parman and Margaret Moncier; brother-in-law and wife: Lloyd and Carolyn Seaton; father-in-law: Tommy Seaton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Jule and Irene Hopson; sister: Carolyn Cassidy; brother-in-law: Richard Cassidy; and mother-in-law: Shirley Seaton.

The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Owen Freeman and Rev. Roger Stockton officiating.

Interment will follow in Greystone Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Hopson, Bradley Hopson, Steven Freeman, Brandon Shaw, Brian Hopson, Craig Bowlby, Mike Huff, Steve Whittenburg, and Robert Wilhoit.

Honorary pallbearers are Eddie House, Terry Jones, Brett Parman, Hunter Parman, Jacob Brooks, Dale Parman, members of the fire hall, golf buddies, and the “breakfast bunch”.
