Bobby Andrew Hylton

He was retired from the U.S. Army and was a member of Hardin's Chapel United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Hylton; daughter and son-in-law: Chris Ann and Christopher Dale of Houston, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law: Cash and Katy Matthews of Austin, Texas, Carey and Shirley Matthews of San Diego, California, Gary and Kathy Steger of Orlando, Florida, and Scott Steger of Dallas, Texas; his grandchildren: Connor and Logan Dale of Houston, Texas, Audrey and Sarah Matthews of Austin, Texas, Creed, Caleb and Claire Matthews of San Diego, California, Richard and Robert Steger of Orlando, Florida, and Joshua and Johanna Steger of Dallas, Texas; his sister and brother-in-law: Shirley and Joe Brickey of Jonesborough; five nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law: Ruth Appleby of Dallas, Texas.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon Friday at Hardin’s Chapel United Methodist Church preceding the funeral service at 12 noon. Rev. Lew Kizer will officiate.

Interment will follow in Hardin’s Chapel Cemetery.

His pallbearers are members of Hardin’s Chapel Church and his honorary pallbearers are members of Hardin’s Chapel UMC Bible Class.

Military graveside services will be conducted by the Greene County Honor Guard.
