

Monday night at Unicoi County Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was born December 5,
1942 and peacefully went to be with our Lord July 16, 2012. He was retired from Shelby
Williams in Morristown. He had also been employed by Forrest Products. Mr. Cline was a
member of Carpenters Chapel Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to church, camping at Kinser
Park and fishing as long as his health permitted. He also enjoyed spending time with his children
and grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Walter and Charlise Talley Cline and was preceded in death by his
first wife and the mother of his children, Nancy Cline; four sisters, Grace Evelyn Cline, Margie
Cline Marshall, Mary Cline Woods, Barbara Clowers; three brothers, Neil Cline, Curt Cline,
Walter Cline.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Randolph Cline; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and
Mickey Johnson, Renee and Danny Strange, all of Parrottsville; Michelle and Eric Knowles of
Macon, Mo; one son, Chris Cline of Parrottsville; stepson, Terry Randolph of Chuckey;
stepdaughter, Linda Randolph of Maryville; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Joann Cline
of Greene county; a sister, Shirley Cline Williams; three grandchildren, Seth Johnson, Daniel
Strange, both of Parrottsville, and Erica Knowles of Macon, MO; two step grandchildren, Amy
Johnson of Chuckey, Barbie Bradford and husband, Wade, of Greeneville; five step great
grandchildren, and one step great great grandchild, all of Greene county; sister-in-law, Margaret
Cline; brother-in-law, James Clowers; an uncle, Charles Talley; also numerous nieces and
nephews including a special
nephew, James Cline.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Carpenters Chapel
Baptist Church. Rev. Sonny Beaver, Rev. Jerry Cline and Rev. Ron Ball will officiate.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery on Snapps Ferry Road. The body will be remain at
the funeral home until time to be taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior the service.
