Born Sept 21, 1928 in Esmond, Illinois to Dorathy A and Stanley C Lindaas, she was the eldest of their 8 children.
She married Richard W Morris in 1947, they had 8 children and lived in Illinois until 1993 when they retired to Tennessee.
Lorraine was an excellent seamstress and was well known for her crafting skills. Until arthritis halted her knitting and crocheting, she provided handmade sweater sets to every baby in the family, and countless other sets for family and friends. In addition to caring for her family, Lorraine was very involved in her church, and her childrens’ school, she also had time to run a licensed daycare in her home. As her children aged, she enjoyed working outside the home, especially enjoying all her years at McDonalds both in Illinois and coming out of retirement to work there in Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Irving and Roger Lindaas, sister Lila Bernice who died in infancy, husband Richard, daughter Donna Frye, son Ted Morris, and grandson Kevin Anderson.
She is survived by brothers Kenneth Dewayne Lindaas (Bev) of Illinois and Carl Lindaas (Kay) of Illinois, sisters Ruth Eike (Bob) of Illinois and Judy Lipp (Hank) of Wisconsin, daughters Carol Reando (Stephen) of Florida, Shirley Anderson (Gene) of Illinois, Nancy Robertsen (Terry) of Tennessee, Susie Embry (James) of Illinois, and Mary McMahon (Charlie) of Indiana, son Gene Morris (Tonia) of Illinois, son-in-law Jay Frye of Tennessee, daughter-in-law Betsy Morris of Ohio, 28 grandchildren, 70+ great grandchildren, 29 great great grandchildren and counting.
