

Celina Rita Burns, aged 90, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024, in Greeneville, Tennessee. Born on February 10, 1934, Celina was known for her buoyant spirit, deep faith, and indomitable strength.
Celina’s life was marked by her dedication to family and her community. She embraced her role as a wife, mother, and caregiver with unwavering commitment and love. Her home was a hub of warmth and laughter, enriched by her skills at the piano and her joy in playing cards, whether winning or losing.
A faithful member of Crossroads Church at the fairgrounds, Celina’s spiritual life was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and interactions. Her church family will remember her as a beacon of light and kindness.
Celina is survived by a loving family, including her children Maryann Etheridge (Mimi), Denis Menard (wife Elizabeth), Arthur Menard, Annette Rice (husband Ernest), Rochelle Faul (husband Arthur), Paul Menard (wife Gail), and Danny Menard (wife Brenda). She was a cherished grandmother to Tyson Etheridge, Erin Bagley, Kellie Marbry, Danice St. Prix, Jessica Menard, Danielle Menard, Matthew Menard, Casey Carter, Benjamin Etheridge, and Celina Menard; and a great-grandmother to Teressa Etheridge, Chloe Marbry, Iris Vellenga, Samuel Etheridge, Cullen Marbry, Liam Marbry, Juniper Bagley, Elias Bagley, Henry St. Prix, Jordan Menard, and McKenzie Nelson. Additional loved ones include Joseph Faul, Misty Faul, Taylor Hernandez, Jacob Wade, Grant Faul, Rebecca Holder, and John Sycks.
A service to honor and celebrate Celina’s life will be held at Crossroads Church, 123 Fairgrounds Circle, Greeneville, TN 37745 on November 9th, 2024. Friends may visit from 10 am, followed by the service at 11 am. Post-service, friends and family are invited to gather for lunch at 375 Browns Bridge Rd, Greeneville, TN.
Celina’s life was a testament to the power of faith, the joy of family, and the beauty of friendship. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
