

He was a welder most of his life.
Mr. Crockett was a Presbyterian by faith.
He was proud to be a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Bulls Gap VFW and the Morristown DAV.
He was very proud of the fact that he was named after famed World War II hero, Sandy Bonnyman, who was a good friend of his father; also the fact that he was a direct descendant of pioneer, Davy Crockett.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Sandra and Nick Hartman of Greeneville; son: Davy Crockett of Bulls Gap; beloved grandson: Garrett Michael Hartman; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Patricia Everhart of Greeneville and Josephine Crockett Moore and husband, David, of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews; special friends: dear friend Dave Kuehl, Charles Reed, Lloyd “Shorty” Harmon, Steve Evans, Charlie Kite, and Wilbur Wells; two sisters-in-law: Mildred Graham and Marcella Graham of the South Central Community; and his beloved pets: Ranger and Sophie
He was the son of the late Joseph Charles Crockett and Dorothy Charlotte Crockett and was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Graham Crockett.
The family will receive friends from 1pm-3pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, a Memorial Service will be held at 3pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stephen Rutherford officiating.
Interment will be at 11:30am Monday at Mountain Home Cemetery. Morristown VFW Post #5266 will conduct a military graveside service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the committal service.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Joey Massey, Eric Hinkle, Derek Reed, Charles Reed, Dave Kuehl, and Greg Pierce.
University of Tennessee Home Health will serve as honorary pallbearers.
