

He retired from Magnavox after 39 years of service.
Mr. Holt attended People’s Tabernacle Church.
He especially enjoyed working in his yard and flowers. He also had a passion for music and sang with numerous Gospel groups.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years: Wanda Holt; daughter and son-in-law: Teresa and Jay Taylor; two granddaughters and spouses: Rachel and Chad Morelock and Cassie and Terry Anderson; four great grandchildren: Brett Norton, Braiden Anderson, Garrett Anderson, and Logan Anderson; two great-great grandchildren: Aubree Laws and Ely Norton; two sisters: Wanda Jones and Leuna Wallin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Thannie and Ruth Holt; four brothers: Gene, J. T., Lowell Dean, and David Holt; and three sisters: Stella Otto, Linda Holt, and Genita Paxton.
The family will receive friends from 12pm-2pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday at Liberty Cemetery with Rev. Billy Gragg officiating.
Pallbearers will be Terry Anderson, Garrett Anderson, Chad Morelock, Brett Norton, Jay Taylor, and Donald Paxton.
The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Mosca and staff, the staff of McGraw Hospice Center in Jacksonville, Florida, and the staff of Amedisys Hospice in Greeneville.
