Densil (Joyce) Jacquez

Mrs. Jacquez was born July 14, 1932 and married Ernest Dorteo Jacquez July 24, 1949. They moved to Greeneville in 2000.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Barrow, and her husband, Ernest.

Survivors include two daughters: Patricia, a long-time Greene County educator, and husband, Rev. Lawrence Jersey and Dee Velasquez of Farmington, New Mexico; a son, Ike Jacquez and wife, Pam, of Muskogee, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Dale Jersey and wife, Rachael, of Greeneville, Daniel Jersey and wife, Marcia, of Knoxville, Anita Velasquez and Andrea Fierro and husband, Mark, of Farmington, New Mexico, Josh Jacquez and wife, Chelsea, and Amanda Jacquez of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Leslie Basham and husband, Tyler, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren: Tarren Jersey, Matthew Jersey, Sam Mask , Gabriella and Alessandra Fierro, Gabriel and Gideon Jacquez; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Smith of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Stella Brown of Show Low, Arizona; and two brothers-in-law, Don Jacquez of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Orlando Jacquez of Bloomfield, New Mexico.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow at 8 pm in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Rick Becker officiating.

Interment will be 2 pm Tuesday, at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery Tuesday for the committal service.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Jersey, Tarren Jersey, Matthew Jersey, Mark Fierro, Josh Becker, and Ben Shepherd. Dale Jersey, Josh Jacquez and Bob Johnson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
