He was a Security Guard for the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and a member of Mosheim Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a U. S. Navy Veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Donald Ray Norton and Christopher Allen Norton; a daughter, Melissa Norton; a sister, Mary Guinn; nephew, James Maynard; special friends: Ray Fillers, Doug and Tammy Crocker; and a brother-in-law, Rex Maynard.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Gala Norton and Virginia Norton; and his mother, Amarada Norton.
The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 pm Thursday preceding the funeral service which will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel. The interment will then be conducted at Mosheim Central Cemetery. Rev. Kenny Collins will officiate.
Pallbearers are Donald Ray Norton, Christopher Allen Norton, David Fillers, Dakota Fillers, and Doug Crocker.
