

He was a retired employee of Philips Consumer Electronics (Magnavox).
He was a U. S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Greeneville Moose Lodge #692, Greeneville Lodge #3 F&AM, Kerbela Shrine Temple, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and VFW Post #1990.
Survivors include his nieces and nephews: Mable and Buford Lamb, Martha and Jerry Metcalf, Jimmy and Kathleen “Kitten” Crum, all of Greeneville and Gary and Brenda Crum of Bay Minette, Alabama; two special friends: Tracy Painter and David Painter and their parents, Johnny and Debbie Painter, all of Greeneville; and several great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews.
He was the son of the late Elmer and Pearl Johnson Crum and was preceded in death by a brother, Clark “Shorty” Crum; his former wife, Carolyn Myers; and a special friend, Edith Ott.
The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. Greeneville Lodge #3 F&AM will conduct a Masonic Service at 6:30 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.
Follow visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Mary Jane Farmer, CLP officiating.
Interment will be in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery Thursday at 2:00 pm. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
