Doris Elaine Tweed Malone

Doris Elaine Tweed Malone, age 74, of Greeneville, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at Greeneville Community Hospital East.

Elaine was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her smile could light up a room. She loved crocheting blankets and giving them away. She was a member of Greeneville Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Elaine retired from American Greeting Manufacturing of Greeneville.

She is survived by two sons, Rick (Debbie) Waddell and Mick (Brandy) Malone; four brothers, Rocky, Bentley (Mary), Kenny, and Darwyn Tweed; two sisters, Barbara (Leonard) Cutshaw, Marlene (Junior) Wills; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Muzetta Tweed; sister, Brenda Tweed; a special niece, Jessica Tweed Penley; a sister in law, Linda Tweed; and Shea her cat whom she loved dearly.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Keith Williams officiating. There will be no formal visitation per her request. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 2pm Wednesday for the service.

Pallbearers will be: Rick Waddell, Mick Malone, Kenny Tweed, Bryce Cutshaw, Mark Cutshaw, and Brian Wills.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Amedisys Hospice, 3 West nurses, special neighbors, Jason Simmons, Jean McLain and Ryann McLain, whom she thought of as a grandson.
