Dorothy Jean Pruitt

She was a housewife.

Mrs. Pruitt attended Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years: James Allen Pruitt; two sons and daughters-in-law: David and Pam Pruitt of Gray, Tn; Robert and Michele Pruitt of Coloma, Mi; grandchildren and spouses: Joshua and Janel Pruitt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Monica and Daniel McMurray of Benedict, Ka; Rebekah Pruitt of Coloma, Mi; great grandchildren: Emma Pruitt, Trent Pruitt, Colton McMurray, and Isaiah McMurray; a sister: Edna Noe; several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lura Mae Wagner and was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.

The funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Todd Abbey will officiate. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens .

Pallbearers will be her nephews: Lynn Story, Tommy Wagner, Alan Kelton, Gregg Noe, Gary Quillen, and Edward Wilhoit .

The family will receive friends 4-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
