

He was a sophomore at West Greene High School and attended Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Dylan Swift was a very loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin and a friend to all who knew him. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, skating with his friends, and most of all spending time with his family. He also was a very protective brother to his sisters.
Survivors include his mother: Lois Shelton; father: Stephen Swift; three sisters: Tekisha Hopson, Haley Guinn, ad Cara Swift; a nephew: Corey Swift; his grandparents: Winfred Shelton, Doris and Kenneth Metcalf; aunts and uncles: Ray and Hannah Shelton of Franklin, Tennessee, Della Sue Shelton, Crystal Swift, Jimmy Mills, Teresa and Bryan Robinson, Helen Cox, Kenneth Metcalf of Morristown, Stacy and Tonya Metcalf of Greeneville; special cousins: Eian Knight, Braxton Roberts; and special friends: Dylan, Jordan and Brandon Jones.
Dylan was preceded in death by his grandparents: Marjorie Hazelwood and Bobby Swift; and his great grandparents: Hurley Bowman and Flora Lamons; an aunt: Jamie Shelton.
The funeral service will be held at 7pm Saturday, December 7, 2013, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Lynn Neas
officiating. Interment will be 2pm Sunday at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roger Jennings, Ray Shelton, Brock Epps, Jackie Ball, Dylan Laws, and Roger Jennings Jr.
The family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday and 1-3 and 5-7pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Family and friends are asked to meet at 1pm Sunday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
