

She retired as a LPN II from Laughlin Memorial Hospital after 37 years of service.
Mrs. Waters was a member of Powder Branch Baptist Church in Elizabethton.
She taught piano lessons for many years and enjoyed serving the Lord through her music. She was also an avid gardener.
Survivors include her husband: Phillip Waters, Jr. of Elizabethton; two daughters and a son-in-law: Susan Fillers of Mohawk, Sharon and Stanley Schlegel of Greeneville; a stepdaughter: Donna Waters; two stepsons: Shane Waters and wife, Audrey, Julius Waters and wife, Angie, all of Elizabethton; grandchildren: Anthony Swatzell, Bryan Nelson, Tonya Nelson, Christopher Fillers and wife, Renee, Risha Fillers and Libby Schlegel; ten great grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law: Jerry and Connie Reynolds of Washington County; several nieces and nephews; and her neighbors in Rolling Hills Addition.
She was the daughter of the late Elmer Heck and Nellie Reynolds and was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Swatzell, and one daughter, Sandra Pleasant.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday and 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 10 am Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Brad Higgins and Pastor Gene Cornett officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jay Michael Waters, Phillip Waters, Jacob Waters, Jordy Harmon, Damon Drinnon and David Kenner.
