Elvis L. Taylor, 60, of Limestone, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center.

He was a truck driver for So Pak Co Distribution for 40 years.

He was of the Baptist faith.

He was a John Deere collector and loved spending time with his family and friends and his old mules.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years: Patricia Taylor; son: Jason Spoon; two grandchildren: Cameron Church and Brandon Spoon; brother: Ronnie Taylor; sisters and brothers-in-law: Lisa and Randy Bailey and Twana and Randy Summie; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and special friends: Tommy and Wanda Cutshall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Louise Taylor, and sister, Vickie Lawhern.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Reed officiating.

Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Hardin’s Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hoard, Bobbie Smith, Mike Briggs, Marvin Wilder, James Taylor, and Rex Garber.

Honorary pallbearers are the employees of So Pak Co.
