

Mrs. Dawson was a housewife and a member of Oven Creek United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one special niece: Debbie Gammons (whom she helped raise); four nephews and their wives: Fred Ronald and Carolyn Gammons of the Orebank Community, Mosheim; Jack and Penny gammons of Nashville; Larry and Melissa Gammons of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Jimmy and Teresa Gammons of Pates Hill Road, Mosheim; several other nieces and nephews; one great niece: Rachel Gammons of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; great nephews: Matt Gammons of Nashville, Clark and Cameron Gammons of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and James A. Gammons III of Newport; special sister: Mabel Wilder Gammons of Mosheim; one brother-in-law: Donald Dawson of Jefferson City; and a sister-in-law: Lougene Douthat of Florida.
Mrs. Dawson was preceded in death by her husband: Kyle "Hook" Dawson; her parents: Walter and Mary Wilder; one sister: Edith Wilder; and a brother: Fred B. Wilder.
Pallbearers will be Clyde Broyles, Alan Broyles, Craig White, Jeff Ottinger, Phil Gregg, Barb Rader, Maynard Reece, and Charles Gregg.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Oven Creek United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7pm in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Joe Phillips and Jon Pursley will officiate. It is requested that family and friends meet at Oven Creek United Methodist Cemetery at 1:50pm Sunday for the 2pm committal service.
The family expressed a special thanks to the staff at Laughlin Memorial Hospital and Caris Hospice.
