Eric Daniel Bales

Eric Daniel Bales, 27, of Fodderstack Mountain Loop, Greeneville, in the Pine Grove Community, passed away Saturday morning, May 19, 2012, at his home after being discharged from Vanderbilt Medical Center where he had been a patient for 2½ months.

He was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife: Nikki Bales; son: Austin Bales of the home; mother: Carolyn Bales of Greeneville; grandmother: Wanda Ruth Horner of Greeneville; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Bill and Sherry Cole of Limestone; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Crystal and Ben Thompson of Greeneville and Sherry Allen of Mosheim;and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was the son of the late Thomas Bales.

The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Wayne Waycaster and Rev. Steve Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery on the Horton Highway.

His pallbearers will be Ricky Williams, Bill Cole, Bobby McAmis, Johnny Roberts, Donnie Ward, and Darrell Calwell.

Tim Crum and Bob Tate will serve as honorary pallbearers.
