

He retired as store room manager at Doehler Jarvis.
He was a member of Pruitt Hill United Methodist Church and attended as long as his health would permit. He was also a member of the United Methodist Men and sang in the choir.
One of his favorite activities was to visit people in the nursing homes. He also loved to go fishing.
Survivors include his daughter: Pamela Bivings of Dandridge; son: Eunice Ray Hamilton Jr. of Greeneville; granddaughters: Latoya Hamilton of Chuckey and Elizabeth Easterly of Dandridge; grandson: Terry Easterly Jr. of Dandridge; special great granddaughter: Frances Lexi-Ray Hamilton of Chuckey; special cousin: Rev. Mary Margaret Johnson of Maryland; three other first cousins, and several nieces and nephews; special friends: Arlen Bowers, Mr. and Mrs. John Barner, Billy Mack and Anna Barner; aunt: Mary Barkley; aunt and cousin: Edith Campbell and Freddie Bowers; fiancée and caretaker: Sharron Tipton of Chuckey; son and caregiver: Tony Tipton of Limestone; son and daughter-in-law and caregivers: James and Eva Tipton of Limestone; and his special dogs: Lilly and R.B.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Frances Hamilton Johnson; brothers: Billy Mack Johnson and Anderson “Bud” Hamilton; son-in-law: Darren Bivings; a special aunt: Stella Hamilton; and uncle and aunt who helped to raise him: Rev. Rollin Hamilton and wife Roxie.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to his caregiver Troy Early, Betty Rollins, and Patsy Hamilton and their families for all their help, love and support. A special thanks is also extended to the nurses at the VA second floor CLC Ward and Dr. May.
There will be a private service with Rev. Rosie Curberson and Rev. Alex Phipps officiating. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service.
