Evelyn M. Parkins Waddell

She was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Greer, South Carolina.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Jay and Linda Hensley, Carl and Robin Hensley, and Dennis Hensley; daughter and son-in-law: Mary and Tommy Hensley; son-in-law: Phil Sybrant; daughter-in-law: Cindy Hensley; several grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, and nephews; and two sisters and brothers-in-law: Beatrice and Lavern Hensley and Diane and Charles Fillers.

She was preceded in death by her second husband: James Bud Waddell; first husband: Paul B. Hensley; children: Donald R. Hensley, Nancy J. Hensley Bailey, and Amy G. Hensley Sybrant; parents: Charlie and Robbie Parkins; brothers: Wilson, Oscar, Manuel, Ruble, and Roger Parkins; and sisters: Minnie Shelton and Mollie Stout.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charles Fillers officiating.

Interment will follow in Shelton Mission Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Hensley, Josh Lane, Cameron Lane, Brandon Dagen, Jamie Parkins and Wesley Parkins.
