Faye Gregg

She was a seamstress.

Mrs. Gregg was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, where she had perfect attendance for over 40 years and was a member of the choir.

She loved gospel music and attended many gospel singings.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Mable Ruth and Dean Crum; two grandchildren: Brenda Knight and spouse, Scotty, and Keith Crum; four great grandchildren: Katarina and Kennedy Knight, Mason and Hayley Crum; two half-brothers and two half-sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Gregg; one brother, Ross Smith; and two sisters, Mildred Ottinger and Irene Smith.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2pm Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, where the body will lie in state for 30 minutes preceding the funeral service.

Rev. James Fain and Rev. Ricky Clowers with officiate.

Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Keith Crum, Tyler Bird, Austin Bird, Johnny Gene Smith, Jeff Light, and Claude Hurd.

The members of the Kathleen Hutton Sunday School Class at Pine Grove United Methodist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family would like to thank all of her friends for the visits, phone calls, and prayers and to express special thanks to the staff of the Laughlin Memorial Hospital ER and the staff of the Johnson City Medical Center.
