

A homemaker in her later years, Mrs. Hatfield was formerly employed by Family Dollar Store, Spickard Shoes, and Revco; she also managed several restaurants. She made many wonderful friends along the way.
Mrs. Hatfield’s family remembers her as a woman who loved the Lord and had a big heart for everyone. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was beloved by friends and family alike. Mrs. Hatfield attended First Church of God where she was an active member as long as her health permitted.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Hatfield; one son and three daughters, Russell and Star Mays, Linda and Ronnie Holt, and Teresa Burger of Greeneville, and Penny and Jack Aldrich of Lake Mary, Florida; six grandchildren, Tracy and Jason Olson, Carla and Paul Todaro, and Angie and Brian Hopson, all of Greeneville; Natalie Rowell of Columbia, South Carolina, Chad and Ashley Garber of Jonesborough, and Rusty Mays of Chattanooga; thirteen special great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many in-laws from Arkansas.
She was a daughter of James and Bessie Collins of Cedar Creek and was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Brown of Greeneville and Kay Osmulski of Michigan; and two brothers, Erskine Collins of Greeneville and Frank Collins of Michigan.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 Monday at First Church of God on West Main Street. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 o’clock Tuesday morning at First Church of God with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Gerald Rudd and Rev. Stephen Aiken will officiate. Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Jason Olson, Daniel Olson, Brian Hopson, Paul Todaro, Benji Cox, and Witt Reese. Honorary pall bearers will be Marshall Brown, Carl Garber, Dr. Jaime Oakley and the staff at Summit Medical Group. The family would like to thank Mrs. Hatfield’s special friends, Sabrina Fender, Sheila Alexander, Kathy Ridley, Sandra Denny, and Shaun Hope, as well as her special caregivers, Judy Rosenbalm, Gail Williams, and Lois Underhill, as well as the staff of Caris Hospice.
