

She was a member of Refuge Free Will Baptist Church in Afton, and she loved gardening and flowers.
Frances is survived by two daughters, Joyce Ann Holland Ferguson and Mary Sue “Red” Smith; a son, Jeff Holland; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by special friends, Pearl Landers and Helen Lowery.
She was the daughter of the late William Herman and Mary Manis Smith and is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lee Holland; her daughter and son-in-law, Janice Ruth Moore and Rev. Walter Moore, Jr.; and a son-in-law, Rev. Stevie “Steve” Ferguson.
The family will receive friends 4-7pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 7pm, officiated by Rev. Lynn Mercer.
Interment will be at 11am Friday at Cross Anchor Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10am to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers are Frank Moore, Scott Moore, Jordan Moore, Larry Scott, Bobby Carter, Wayne Goodwon.
Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
