

He was retired from Magnavox and was a former truck driver for Larry Jones and Wayne Bettis.
Mr. Gray was a member of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church.
He gave his life to God at an early age and spent his whole life as “Uncle Gary” to the many
children whom he loved so dearly.
Survivors include his nieces and nephews: Katy Denney of the home, Nancy and Donnie Jeffers of Mosheim, William “Bill” Gray, Kevan Jeffers, and Willie Ray Jeffers; a sister-in-law and lifelong friend: Pat Gray Reppond of Greeneville; special cousins: David Gray, Shane Dean, Terry Dean, Anthony Gray, Lacy Dean, Lemar Dean, Danny Dean, Patsy Finkle, and Jerry Harrison; special friends: John McMillian, Chris Roark, Travis Briles, Jeremy Avelo, Andy Hawkins, Daniel Ervin, Amanda Bell, Ashley Bell, Jeffery Morgan, Raymond Bowker, and Lucas Kilbort.
He was the son of the late Adin J. and Mary Shaw Gray and was preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie “Bud” Gray and James Ronnie Gray; a sister, Judy Gray Moncier; a great great nephew, Adin Jay Hinkle.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, March 30, 2011, in the Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Rev. Martha Beamer and Rev. Charles Lindy will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
Upon Gary’s request, his nieces and nephews will be pallbearers: Nancy Jeffers, Katy Denney, Bill Gray, Kevan Jeffers, Willie Ray Jeffers, Shane Dean, and Anthony Gray.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Margeaux Clemmins, Dr. Mandeep Bakshi, staff of Amedysis Home Health and Hospice, Lisa Wedding, Barbara Livingston, Bill and Patsy Haney, Carson Shelton, Mike Carter, Luke Buchanan, John Buchanan, Tim Wright, employees of Atchley Pharmacy, Jerry Burkes, and a special honorary pallbearer, David Gray.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home.
