George Seiters King Jr.

He was a retired carpenter and farmer.

Mr. King was of the Baptist faith.

He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Dianne and Billy Woody; Debbie and Dale Hicks; one son and daughter-in-law: Michael Steven and Evelyn King; eight grandchildren: Clint Murphy, Angela Hoehm, Deanna Saunders; Michael King, Albert King, Bonnie Mallory, Eric Dulaney, Makayla Malone; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Gladys McKinney King; his parents,

George King, Sr. and Bonnie Lauderdale King.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 5, 2011, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Dr. David Green will officiate. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bill Woody, Jr., Eric Dulaney, Sam Potter, Clint Murphy, Dale Hicks, and Bill Woody, Sr.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 pm Monday preceding the funeral service.
