He was of the Church of God faith.

Mr. Solomon retired from Weavexx.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years: Betty Dell Solomon; children and spouses: Danny Solomon and fiancé Juanita Hartman, Earl Barney Solomon, Arthur and Martha Ricker, Mike and Dell Thompson; grandchildren: Virginia Dell Solomon, Trey and Jessica Ricker, Travis and Brittany Ricker, Tyler Ricker, Jacob Thompson, Spencer Solomon, Rocky and Cheyenne Thompson; great grandchildren: Dakine Drake, Torah Bray Thompson; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Bill and Janet Solomon and Bobby and Judy Solomon; and his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Basil and Joy Blankenship and Anna Lee Blankenship.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Cora Solomon; his brothers: J.D. Solomon, George Solomon, and Jim Solomon; and his sisters: Mildred Fillers, Mertis Crum, and Maggie Stierner.

The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Trey Ricker, Travis Ricker, Tyler Ricker, Spencer Solomon, Jacob Thompson, and Mark Hartman.

Honorary pallbearers are Tracy Solomon, Brad Solomon, Tim Solomon, Keith Fillers, and Bobby Gene Crum.
