Heather Inglis Bailey

Heather I. Bailey passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013, after ongoing health problems that she battled fiercely. Heather was born in Westerly, Rhode Island but moved to Greeneville, TN with her family in 1969. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Heather and her husband, Roy, started Bailey Associates in 1974 and served industries nationally with material handling equipment until they retired in 2001.

She leaves behind a devoted husband of 55 years: Roy Bailey; a daughter and son-in-law: Gwen and Larry Joe Lilley of Greeneville; a son and daughter-in-law: Donald and Stacy Bailey of Jefferson City, TN; a sister: Katherine Strawderman; her grandchildren: Jessie Miller, Nicole Lilley, Megan Pierce, Alexandria Overacker, Sterling Piper Bailey, Valerie Mead, Alex Keener-Connolly, and Heather Foreman; nieces and nephews: Steven Gandolfi, Sherry Reynolds, Ron Dufour, Jim Dufour, Shaun Bailey, Sara Gaulin, and Seth Bailey; and her great grandchildren: Ande Miller, Trinity Mead, Alyssa Keener-Connolly, and Alexis Keener-Connolly.

She was the daughter of the late James Anderson and Jessie Inglis Anderson of Westerly, Rhode Island, originally from Stirling, Scotland. She was also preceded in death by her son: James Bailey; her sister: Isabelle Gandolfi; and her brother: John Anderson.

It was her desire to be cremated.

The family will receive friends 2pm-4pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
