Ivah Kate Henry

She was a retired Employee of Philips Consumer and Alpine Industries.

Ms. Henry was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the church choir and secretary of the UMW.

Ivah was a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to all with whom she came in contact.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Richie and Sherry Henry and Randy and Kathy Henry of the Orebank Community; special grandson: Hunter Henry; step grandson: Brad Cutshaw of Chuckey; one brother: Rex Nanney of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Hunter and Wilma Nanney and was preceded in death by her husband: John R. Henry; two brothers: Edward Nanney and LeRoy Nanney; and two sisters: Gladys Smith and Dorothy Stanton.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Don Petty and Rev. Jim Fain officiating.

Interment will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday in Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Henry, Brad Cutshaw, Lee Stanton, Chris Combs, Kenny Backberg, and Jeremy Jones.

Honorary pallbearers are the members of Pine Grove UM Church.
