He was a member of Whittenburg United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his mother: Betty Dot” Hogan of Mosheim; uncles and aunts: Ronnie and Beulah Cochran, Jim and Ruth Cochran, all of Greeneville, Glen Myers of Morristown, Roberta Harris of Knoxville, Shirley Cochran of Crossville; several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, James “Ed” Hogan; maternal grandparents, Theodore
and Gladys Cochran, paternal grandparents, William and Mary Hogan.
The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, August 31, 2013, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Jon Pursley
officiating. Interment will follow at Whittenburg Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chris Ragan, Anthony Jones, Teddy Sheffey, Tony Sheffey, Lynn Johnson and Mike Taylor.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
