He was a self-employed mechanic and owner of North Side Auto and Diesel.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years: Tommie Gail Brown; daughter: Crystal Gail Jobe; special granddaughter: Kenzie “Baby Girl” Jobe; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Debbie and Gary Light, Mike and Connie Ball, James and Kelly Webb, Lorrie and Patrick Flannery and Pat and William Harmon; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; many special friends; and his garage friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Myrvus Brown; a brother: Timothy Wayne Brown; special aunt: Mary Edith Grinstead; and grandparents: Carl and Mary Ellen Brown and Joseph and Pearl Combs.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Eddie Malone and Rev. Nathan Reynolds officiating.
