

He was retired from Magnavox/Phillips.
Mr. Hale was a member of Jackson’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
His family states, “He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and will be sadly missed.”
Survivors include one son: Tommy D. Hale; two grandchildren: Jennifer Hale and Brian Hale; a great grandson: Connor Hale; one brother and sister-in-law: “Shorty” and Polly Hale; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Donald Ray Inscore, John and Betty Rader, Fred and Eileen Rader, Annie Hale, and Bee Taylor; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was the son of the late George and Lillie Goodman Hale and was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Hale; two sisters, Mary Katherine Inscore and Norma Jean Ealey.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 6, 2010, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Doug Jennings and Rev. Jeff Blake will officiate. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, in Jackson’s Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clyde McLean, Claude McLean, Willis Gregg, Jack Robinson, Jimmy Solomon, Alton McIntosh.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hugh Allen Jones, Richard Dobbelaere, and the nursing staff of Life Care Center of Greeneville, friends at Jackson’s Chapel FWB Church.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
